This acquisition marks the beginning of a new era for everyday mobility, with a focus on lightweight electric vehicles that are manufactured in France and meet today’s challenges in terms of sustainability and consumer responsibility. Our founders firmly believe that the future of everyday mobility lies in small, clean and energy-efficient vehicles that offer equal protection for drivers, passengers and other road users. We are focused on developing a range of affordable micro-vehicles that are suitable for different uses. We aim to create a new paradigm in the automobile industry by producing micro-vehicles that are energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, all while being practical and accessible to a wider range of consumers.The name Kate comes from "Kei Car," the micro-cars that were originally developed in Japan in the late 1950s. Today, these vehicles still account for 40% of the cars registered in Japan and are highly regarded for their practicality and affordability. Overall, our goal is to accelerate the sustainable transition towards environmentally friendly transport that’s tailored to the needs of users and the environment by promoting the use of micro-cars.The new and improved version of the iconic NOSMOKE will be rebranded as Kate Original. Kate Original is now available to pre-order, with delivery starting from March 2023.
